3 Steps to Better Managed ADHD Symptoms

Step 1.

  • Schedule appointment to complete an initial diagnostic interview with one of our providers. Your provider will work with you to determine what ADHD symptoms you are struggling with. Initial evaluations can be scheduled here

Step 2.

  • If clinically indicated, your provider will recommend ADHD Testing through our clinic. We offer remote testing that can be completed from home. You can also complete the test in-person.

Step 3.

  • Your provider will review your completed test results with you in a follow up visit. During this visit you may also be offered any appropriate treatment options for ADHD.

What You Can Expect: The Process

- Testing involves a 15 to 20 minute, nonverbal, computer-based task.

- The task measures your attention level and impulse control.

- While taking the task, movements are measured to determine if hyperactivity is present.

- Results are compared to an age and sex matched group.

- With the information from your clinical interview and rating scale(s), your clinician will interpret results to determine if you qualify for an ADHD diagnosis.

- If an ADHD diagnosis is indicated, our practice may then conduct Qbtech’s testing after treatment is initiated to measure your response to treatment.

What Happens After My Test?

- Raw testing data is made available to your clinical team immediately.

- The data is then interpreted by your provider and then reviewed in a follow up visit.

- The testing results are then used in combination with other relevant information and a clinical interview to determine the presence of ADHD.

- If indicated, your provider will recommend any appropriate treatment options you are comfortable with.
