Makayla Masek – PMHNP-BC

Makayla Masek is a Board-Certified, licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
(PMHNP-BC) who obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska
Medical Center and her Master of Science in Nursing in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner program from Maryville University. She has an extensive background in inpatient
and outpatient psychiatric care. She provides mental health care for anxiety, depression, ADHD,
PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and many other mental health
conditions. Makayla has 6 years of professional mental health experience that she brings to the
practice.

Makayla’s primary goal is to help her clients reach their optimal potential through individualized,
patient-centered care. She achieves this by implementing a collaborative approach, performing
comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, and providing medication management and
psychotherapeutic interventions that are tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Makayla strives
to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with her patients by offering respectful, supportive,
and compassionate care.

In her free time, Makayla enjoys an active lifestyle, including exercising in the gym, playing
volleyball, spending time outdoors, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
